These neat, silver-toned (ie. I deem genuine silver-based) Bulgarian (pre) WWII-period military-medals: 'For Merit' (or: in Bulgarian- ie. Cyrilic language: 'Za Zaluga') show on their front the portrait of King Boris III and have on their backs the Bulgarian (ie. Cyrilic) tekst that reads: 'Za Zaluga'. The example on offer here came period-mounted onto its nicely confectioned- (ie. pre-folded- and/or Austrian-styled!) piece of period ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and was simply nicely preserved: it was never polished nor cleaned and is still a tiny bit dirty but very detailed. It retains a neat, somewhat tarnished silver-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive medal was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was uncovered amongst some other belongings of a German NCO. Simply a very decorative Bulgarian, (pre) WWII-period military-merit-medal: 'Za Zaluga' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
