This is an attractive - and I deem hardly (ie. simply never!) used - example of a WH (Heeres) 'Armwinkel' (or: arm-chevron) as was executed on a greenish-coloured- and/or typical 'HBT'-like (ie. 'Drillich'-) based background as was specifically intended for usage by a soldier holding the the (unusually encountered!) rank of a: 'Stabsgefreiter' and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem never used ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The chevron is neatly executed on typical greenish-coloured, so-called: 'HBT'-like (ie. 'Drillich'-) based material and shows a detailed 'double-stripe' of silverish-grey-coloured (ie. 'sub-dued' and/or 'dotted'-patten) NCO-braid (showing two black-coloured 'inner-stripes'!) attached. The patch shows some (minimal) storage-age and/or staining (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece is not backed as more often encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). It sounds maybe strange but these 'simple' Heeres-rank-insignia are quite hard to encounter. Simply an attractive rank-badge ie. 'Armwinkel' as executed on a 'Drillich'-based background that will be hard to be upgraded!
