Superb - rarely encountered and neatly hand-embroidered! - 'Waffen-SS' officers'- (ie. NCO-) pattern 'runes'-collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Unterführer der Waffen-SS') that comes in a wonderful- (ie. carefully tunic-removed!), condition
Category:
The truly very attractive Waffen-SS, officers'- (ie. NCO-) pattern collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für (Unter)Führer der Waffen-SS') is of the (typical) hand-embroidered pattern that was intended for usage by the various Waffen-SS, (non)comissioned- (ie. officers'- ie. NCO) staff throughout the war and comes as stated in a wonderful- (and - I deem - clearly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The tab is executed in black-coloured, 'smooth'-type woolen-based material and shows the somewhat shiny, hand-embroidered double 'runes'-signs as to be expected. The piece has clearly been used and/or worn and just shows some age and/or wear: some stitching-remains are still present (as can be seen on the pictures). It shows a 'standard'-pattern, beige-brownish-coloured and/or: 'buckram'-based backing as to be expected but is void of an 'RzM'-etiket: its remains are, however, still present (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows extraordinary hand-embroidery and/or craftmenship. It should be noted that these hand-embroidered-pattern, 'Waffen-SS', officers'- (ie. NCO-) type 'runes'-collar-tabs can easily be graded 'fairly rare'. I deem that I have priced this very attractive and desirable piece accordingly
