Pair of WH (Heeres) collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere') as piped in the desirable green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour: 'Offizier eines Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Rgts.'

This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty not that easily found! - pair of 'standard-issue'-pattern', neatly hand-embroidered officers'-type collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere') as was piped in the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Offizier eines Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Regiments' (or: officer who served within an army mountaintroopers'-unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just moderately worn- and most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The darker-green-piped pair - which is as more often 'backed' with beige-white-coloured buckram - is neatly hand-embroidered in (shiny!) silverish-coloured 'braid' (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was clearly worn and once tunic-attached: it was carefully tunic-removed and shows some moderate age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair originates from a private-household in Germany (where it was found together with the hand-embroidered, officers'-type 'Edelweiss'-patch I offer under nr. #72447 and shoulderboard-pair I offer under nr. #72448: all insignia-pieces belonged to the same officer who wore these insignia and stored them for decades. The pair shows some minimal thread- and/or stitching-remains with which it was once tunic-attached. Simply a very attractive collar-tab-pair that was intended for an: an: 'Offizier eines Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Regiments' and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
