Fully matching set ie. pair of WH (Kriegsmarine) hand-embroidered career- ie. specialist-armbadges, as executed on dark-blue-coloured wool as intended for usage by an officer serving within a generic: 'KM'-unit

Both detailed WH (Kriegsmarine) (specialist) arm-badges - which were to be mounted on both lower-arm-regions of the various blue-coloured officers'- (ie. evt. NCO-) type- tunics - depict a a (golden-toned and very detailed!) 5-pointed 'star'-device (as can be seen on the pictures). They are both executed in bright-yellow- (ie. golden-) coloured 'Cellueon'-based material onto a dark-blue-coloured and/or typical woolen-based background and were as such intended for usage onto the blue-coloured navy attire. Both insignia-pieces do show extraordinary craftmenship and are additonally backed with a piece of black-coloured paper (as can be seen on the pictures). The set was clearly used ie. once tunic-attached (some of the period stitching-holes are still visible) and both show some minimal age ie. staining caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage. It sounds maybe strange but all WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type-, career- ie. specialist-armbadges are quite hard to encounter and can easily be graded fairly 'scarce'. I deem that this attractive set is accordingly priced!
