Superb, Finnish-/German: 'Nordfrontkreuz', being a black-/blue-coloured and non-maker-marked 'variant' that shows the text: 'Pohjoisrintama - Die Nordfront - 1941/43'

This is a truly very attractive - I deem hardly (ie. presumably never!) worn and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a so-called: Finnish- ie. German: 'Nordfrontkreuz', being a black- and/or darker-blue-coloured and neatly enamelled albeit non-maker-marked 'variant' that comes in an overall very nice- (and fully damaged- ie. pristine- ie. I deem still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The cross - which shows the text: 'Pohjoisrintama - Die Nordfront - 1941/43' - has an immaculate enamelled surface, without showing any damage nor wear: it just shows some regular tarnished surface caused by usage and/or handling over the years. The silver-coloured finish - as applied on the arms of the Finnish-styled swastika - is fully preserved and shows hardly any tarnish (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross - which was often awarded to (and worn by!) German soldiers - comes mounted onto its period 'screw-back' attachement that is (as more often) void of a makers'-designation (as can be seen on the photos). I deem that I have priced this very attractive and most certainly decorative award, accordingly: one of the best such examples I ever had on offer!
