This is a truly very attractive - just moderately used and actually very scarcely found! - example of a: 'Wiederholungsspange zum EK II. Klasse' (or bar to the WWI IC 2nd class) being a (typical) non-maker-marked example of the rarely encountered 'first pattern' as was produced by the 'C.E. Juncker'-company as was based in the toen of Berlin and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued and/or I deem minimally worn- ie. clearly tunic-removed-), condition. The neat piece has lost most of its 'high-polished sides' (or: 'hochpolierte Kanten') but is nevertheless very detailed and/or pronounced: it came still mounted onto a WWI EKII-ribbon as worn (that shows some minimal age- ie. staining). The 'Spange' retains three of its original (and fully functional) prongs (one of its prongs is missing) and is just a tiny bit stained and/or dirty: it retains a very nice and/or bright, age-patina and was I deem never cleaned nor polished and comes as found. The piece originated from a private-household and was never before in any collection. It should be noted that these 'first pattern' 'Wiederholungsspangen zum EK II. Klasse' are quite rarely encountered and are not that often appearing on todays' market. Simply a very attractive example that is I deem priced according to its comparative rarity and or desirability!
