This is an attractive - and with certainty rarely encountered! - example of a HJ- ('Hitlerjugend' ie. 'Flieger-Hitlerjugend'-) related cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Segelflugzeugführer' (or: glider-pilot) being an example as executed in the machine-embroidered pattern (onto 'rib-cord'-like material) and that comes in a just moderately used- (and I deem clearly tunic-removed-), condition. The cuff-title - which comes in a (I deem) non-shortened- (ie. still full-length albeit sewn-together) condition and that measures approximately: 37 cms. in length - is neatly machine-embroidered in greyish-white-coloured linnen onto a black-coloured- (and typical 'rib-cord'-like) background. These rarely encountered 'Flieger-HJ'-cuff-titles were (I deem) worn on the lower left sleeve and were presumably awarded to qualified glider-pilots. The piece is (I deem) clearly tunic-removed and shows some minor age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is also a tiny bit wrinkled and/or stained and shows the obvious signs of having been once tunic-attached. I could not find much reference-material regarding this youth-related 'Ärmelstreifen'. Simply a neat - and with certainty rarely encountered - youth- ie. 'Flieger-HJ'-related cuff-title which is with certainty not that often offered for sale!
