This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of an early- (ie. '1935'-) pattern so-called: 'DLV' (ie. 'Deutscher Luftsport Verbandes') metal- (ie. typical aluminium-) based visor-cap-cocarde (ie. 'Schirmmützen-Kokarde für Uffz. u. Mannschaften des Deutscher Luftsport Verbandes') that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem simply never used- nor cap-attached- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The device is totally void of a makers'-designation (or alike) and retains a fully preserved swastika-area and shows a nicely preserved silver-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - that retains both its copper-toned prongs in place - is very detailed and truly retains great, pronounced detail overall. It is simply never used and does show some minimal age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and truly 'early-period- and/or: Luftwaffe-related'! - so-called: 'Deutscher Luftsport Verband'-visor-cap-cocarde that is with certainty accordingly priced!
