Superb - and rarely encountered! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) hand-embroidered, trade- ie. special-career-patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') having a silverish-grey-toned 'Kordel' attached as was intended for: 'LW-Fernschreib-Unteroffiziere'

This is a truly attractive - I deem hardly used and actually quite rarely found! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) neatly hand-embroidered (and silver braid-based!) so-called: trade- ie. special-career-patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') showing a silver-toned 'Kordel' attached as was specifically intended for: 'LW-Fernschreib-Unteroffiziere' (ie. telex staff) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem hardly worn- nor tunic-attached- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The badge - which has the neat 'silver'- and/or cord-like border' (ie. 'Kordel') attached - signified that the bearer had sucessfully succeeded various tests in this speciality. The piece - which shows a additionally-added carton-based- and/or black-coloured 'backing' - is nicely hand-embroidered onto a LW bluish-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and simply shows hardly any wear. These trade- ie. speciality-badges ranked actually amongst the 'award-category' and came together with an official award-document and had to be properly entered in both 'Soldbuch' and 'Wehrpass'. Simply a very attractive - and most certainly not that often encountered! - neatly hand-embroidered (and silver braid-based!) LW-'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen' of the 'Extra-Qualität' that is I deem accordingly priced!
