Fully matching set ie. pair of WH (Kriegsmarine) hand-embroidered career- ie. specialist-armbadges, as executed on dark-blue-coloured wool as intended for usage by an officer serving within a: 'Küstenartillerie'-unit

Both detailed WH (Kriegsmarine) badges - which were to be mounted on both lower-arm-regions of the various blue-coloured officers'-(ie. evt. NCO-) type- tunics - depict a 'winged-shell'-device (as can be seen on the pictures). They are executed in bright-yellow- (ie. golden-) coloured braid onto a dark-blue-coloured and/or typical woolen-based background and were as such intended for usage onto the blue-coloured navy attire. Both insignia-pieces do show extraordinary craftmenship and are additonally backed with a piece of black-coloured paper (as can be seen on the pictures). The set was clearly used ie. once tunic-attached (some of the period stitching-holes are still visible) and both show some minimal age ie. staining caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage. It sounds maybe strange but all WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type-, career- ie. specialist-armbadges as specifically related to the 'KM-Küstenartillerie-Truppen' are very hard to encounter and can easily be graded fairly 'scarce'.
