Superb, RB- ('Reichsbahn'-) related arm-eagle as executed in 'BeVo'-weave style as was intended for an official of the: 'Deutsche Reichsbahn' ie. the 'RBD Königsberg (Pr)' (or: 'Reichsbahndirektion Königsberg (Pr)')

This is a truly very attractive - and actually exceedingly rarely found! - example of a linnen-based arm-eagle (ie. 'Ärmeladler') as executed in the so-called: 'BeVo'weave style as was intended for usage by an official of the: 'Deutsche Reichsbahn' ie. of the: 'RBD Königsberg (Pr)' (or: 'Reichsbahndirektion 'RBD Königsberg (Preussen)') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. truly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-) condition. These attractive eagles - as woven in golden-yellow linnen on a black-coloured- and also linnen-based background - were worn on the darker-blue-coloured service-tunics and/or uniforms of the various officials within this organisation. This is a special arm-insignia-piece, that was intended for the staff working at one of the occupied railway-centres. There were several of these railway-related centres (= 'Reichsbahndirektionen' or RBD) throughout Europe. This is a piece that was intended for a member of the: 'RBD (= 'Reichsbahn-Direktion') based in the town of Königsberg (in the province Preussen). The piece - showing a left-facing eagle as to be expected - comes in a truly used and/or carefully tunic-removed condition: it is a tiny bit stained caused by decades of storage and/or minimal wear. This piece originates from a larger collection of various RB- ('Reichsbahn'-) related arm-eagles that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the website. Simply a superb - and with certainty very rarely encountered! - 'Deutsche Reichsbahn'-related arm-eagle!
