RB- ('Reichsbahn'-) related arm-eagle as executed in 'BeVo'-weave style, as was intended for an official of the: 'Deutsche Reichsbahn' ie. the: 'RVD Kiew' (or: 'Reichsverkehrsdirektion Kiew')

This is an attractive - and actually not that commonly ie. fairly scarcely encountered! - example of a linnen-based arm-eagle as executed in the so-called: 'BeVo'weave-style as was specifically intended for usage by an official of the: 'Deutsche Reichsbahn' (ie. member of the: 'RVD Kiew' or: 'Reichsverkehrsdirektion Kiew') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never used- nor worn- ie. 'still virtually mint'-), condition. These eagles - as woven in golden-yellow linnen on a black-coloured- and also linnen-based background - were worn on the darker-blue-coloured service-tunics and/or uniforms of the various officials within this organisation. This is a special arm-insignia-piece, that was intended for the staff working at one of the occupied railway-centres. There were several of these railway-related centres (= 'Reichsverkehrsdirektionen' or RVD) throughout Europe. This is one of the more difficult to encounter example of the extensive series that was intended for a 'Reichsbahn'-official of the: 'RVD' (or: 'Reichsverkehrsdirektion') as was based in the occupied Ukrainian town of Kiew (Kiev). The piece - showing a left-facing eagle as to be expected - comes in never used- ie. 'still virtually mint' condition: it is just a tiny bit stained ie. wrinkled caused by decades of storage only. Simply a very attractive - and not that commonly encountered - 'Deutsche Reichsbahn'-related arm-eagle!
