Superb - and very scarcely found! - 'Reichsnährstand'- (ie. 'RNSt.'-) related honorary-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Plakette') entitled: 'Der Reichsminister für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft - Für Süchterliche Leistungen'
Category:
This is a truly attractive and very pronounced - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - darkened bronze-toned (and I deem typical 'Buntmetall'- ie. genuine bronze!) based, so-called: 'Reichsnährstand'- (ie. 'RNSt.'-) related, honorary-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Plakette') showing a detailed Reichsadler-device surrounded by the text: 'Der Reichsminister für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft - Für Süchterliche Leistungen' and showing on its back the superimposed (and very detailed!) illustration of a horses-head and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued-), condition. The unusually circular-shaped honorary-plaque (having an approximate diameter of 5 cms.) is executed in (minimally tarnished) bronze-toned (ie. I deem 'Buntmetall'-based ie. genuine bronze-based) metal: it shows some normal age but has apparently never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a tiny bit dirty but has maintained a very nice, just minimally tarnished, age-patina). This particular piece originates from an extensive and larger-sized 'Reichsnährstand'- (ie. 'RNSt.'-) related collection that was compiled over 40 years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example shows a superimposed name of the famous artist (ie. designer) named: 'Albert Hinrich Hüssmann' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Albert Hinrich Hussmann (1874–1946) was a German artist and sculptor specializing in horse and rider statues. Hussmann was born on 3 March 1874 in Cuxhaven, Germany. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin. His statues were featured several times in the Great Berlin Art Exhibition. Hussmann designed pieces for the Bavarian porcelain company Rosenthal from 1909 through 1943 and died on 15 November 1946 in Lüdingworth, Germany.Simply a nice occasion to acquire a neat: 'Reichsnährstand'- (ie. 'RNSt.'-) related honorary-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Plakette') for an interesting and I deem justified price!
