Neat - and just minimally used! - example of a 2-pieced, WH (Luftwaffe) medal-bar (ie. 'Orden- o. Doppelspange') showing resp. an: 'EKII. Kl.' and a: 'WH-DA der 4. Stf.'

This is an attractive - and with certainty desirable! - WWII- (ie. TR-) period, 2-pieced WH (Luftwaffe) medal-bar (ie. 'Orden- o. Doppelspange') that respectively shows an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron-cross second class) and a: 'WH (Luftwaffe) Dienstauszeichnung 4. Stufe' (as was intended for 4 years of loyal-service) and that shows a detailed, smaller-sized and silverish-toned (down-tailed model) eagle-device period- (albeit loosly) attached, both medals coming in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used and/or worn-), condition. Both awards are truly nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: both come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty condition and naturally also come mounted onto their period ribbons. The iron cross - which is an attractive example that was produced by a (by me) unidentified maker - was with certainty never cleaned and has a very nice and/or attractive age-patina: it has just a minimally tarnished appearance (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross retains truly very nice and/or pronounced detail and has a very nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'matted'- ie. satin-like) core: it is void of any damage and still retains most of its polished-sides ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The 'WH-Dienstauszeichnung 4. Stufe' retains nice details and has a great ie. only minimally darkened- ie. tarnished age-patina: it retains all of its somewhat 'bright'- and/or: silver-toned finish (as can be noticed on the pictures). The 'Ordenspange' comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- (ie. catch-) set-up and is neatly 'backed' with a piece of bright-red-coloured wool (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal-bar was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike: it originated as stated above from a private-household and was kept as such for decades. Simply a very attractive - and most decorative! - 2-pieced, WH (Luftwaffe) related medal-bar- ie. 'Orden- o. Doppelspange' that is I deem accordingly priced!
