This is an attractive - unusual and actually unusually encountered! - neatly enamelled- and totally untouched! - so-called: Austrian/Hungarian-related, patriotic 'Franz Joseph I' commemorative supporter-lapel-pin (being an oval-shaped, non-maker-marked and neatly enamelled specimen) showing and iron-cross-symbol on a bright-red-toned background and entitled: 'F.J.I.' and showing a year-designation: 1914 and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately worn- albeit fully untouched-), condition. The piece was (I deem) only moderately worn and is totally void of any enamel-damage and just shows some regular wear and does show some minor scratches ie. wear-marks (as can be seen on the pictures). The lapel-pin is totally void of a makers'-designation (but does show a 'Ges.Geschutzt'-patent-pending-designation and comes mounted onto its functional pin and/or catch (-set-up) (as can be noticed on the pictures). The neat pin - that was I deem merely issued for fund-raising purposes - is having an approximate height of only 2,7 cms. and was never cleaned: it shows an attractive (bright-golden- ie. minimally tarnished, golden-coloured) patina on its back. Simply an attractive and honest example of this Austrian/Hungarian-related, patriotic 'Franz Joseph I' commemorative supporter-lapel-pin that is with certainty not that often offered for sale: I deem that I have priced it accordingly!
