This is a neat - regrettably incomplete and I deem just moderately used and/or worn but nevertheless still nicely preserved! - so-called: 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber', being an unmarked (and/or converse- ie. vaulted) 'hollow-back' example as was produced by the maker: 'Friedrich Linden' (ie. 'F.L.L.') as was executed in silver-coloured, zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem just moderately used-), condition. It deals with a neat - and I deem only minimally used and/or worn - non-maker-marked war-badge: it has a 'typical' (crimped and riveted but regrettably broken-off) catch- and/or hinge (-set-up). I deem that this example can with certainty be determined as a 'mid-war-period-variant' that can be attributed to the maker: 'Friedrich Linden' (ie. 'F.L.L.') as based in the town of Lüdenscheid. The badge was with certainly issued and comes in an only minimally used- and/or worn, condition (as can be seen on the pictures). It was I deem never cleaned nor polished and truly retains most of its silverish-grey-coloured finish as can be seen on the pictures (something that is NOT always the case with these mid-war-period 'FLL'-examples). The pin is of course present but the (typical) catch (ie. set-up-) is regrettably (partly) broken-off. The piece - which originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently found - shows as stated above only minimal wear, age and/or staining. Still an attractive 'hollow-back' IAB-variant by the desirable maker 'Friedrich Linden' (ie. 'F.L.L.') that is I deem priced according to its damaged ie. broken-off catch!
