Superb, 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' being a non-maker-marked example as was (I deem) produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Gustav Brehmer'

The truly very attractive piece - which was surely issued but that was hardly used nor worn! - came together with its folded and/or minimally confectioned (and approx. 18 cms. long-sized-) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as issued and/or stored for decades. The cross - which is void of a makers'-designation - was with certainty never cleaned and has a very nice and/or truly attractive age-patina: it retains a fair bit (ie. most!) of its so-called: 'hochpolierte Kanten' (or: polished sides) and is truly void of any damage or alike: the cross is simply very nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross has a very nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'matted'-like) core: it is totally void of any damage or paint-loss and has been nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is just a tiny bit dusty and/or stained but was never cleaned nor polished: it retains almost all of its so-called: 'hochpolierte Kanten' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The cross is (I deem) an evident specimen that was produced by the desirable maker: 'Gustav Brehmer' as based in the town of Markneukirchen in Sachsen (ie. 'Hersteller 13'): it has very nice and/or pronounced detail as to be expected for a cross by this desirable maker. The IC was recently found at a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply a superb, non-maker-marked 'EK II. Klasse' that will be impossible to be upgraded!
