This is an attractive - and most certainly scarcely encountered! - example of a 'standard-WH-issue'-pattern ie. typical 'Kriegsmarine'- (ie. WWII-period) pocket-watch (or: 'Dienstuhr') of the make: 'K.M. Cortébert' having a (pristine!) white-coloured dial-plate and/or engraved back-plate that simply reads: '540524' and that comes mounted onto its period (chrome-steel-based) 'Kette' and comes in an overall very nice- (and still functional- ie. running), condition. These neat pocket-watches - having a standard 15- (or 17) -jewel movement - were distributed at a limited scale to the various soldiers (ie. NCO and/or officers!) of the: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' and were properly entered in both: 'Wehrpass' and/or 'Soldbuch'. They had to be engraved with a unique numbering such as the piece on offer. As stated above, has the piece on offer here a fully undamaged white-coloured dial(plate) having a subsidiary 'seconds'-dial at the 6 o'clock position. The piece has a very attractive (and virtually undamaged but clearly used) nickle-chrome-based casing: the pocket-watch just shows some minimal wear and/or age (and comes as stated above in a still functional and/or running-condition: it can I deem be excellently used as a personal equipment-piece for an equipment- or mannequin-set-up). Simply a desirable and truly scarcely seen WH- ie. typical 'Kriegsmarine'- related personal equipment-piece: I deem that I have priced this attractive specimen, accordingly!
