'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Kl.' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) being a (typical) maker- (ie. '4'-) marked example by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Steinhauer & Lück' and that comes stored in its period etui

This is a truly attractive - surely desirable and I deem just moderately worn- and/or used - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) being a detailed and clearly maker- (ie. '4'-) marked example (visible on the back of the pin as more often) as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Steinhauer & Lück' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes still stored in its period etui as issued and that comes in an overall very nice- (surely issued and just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The magnetic cross has an overall very nice age-patina and retains truly great detail: the black-coloured core shows no rust nor damage whatsoever: the satin-like (ie. minimally matted), black-coloured painted core is truly very nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross retains, moreover, a fair bit of its 'off-factory applied' polished sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten'). The back of the cross is just a tiny bit stained (but was never cleaned nor polished). The (flute-shaped) pin and catch (ie. set-up) are naturally unaltered and/or fully functional. The cross is an evident specimen that was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Steinhauer & Lück' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid: it has very nice and/or pronounced detail as to be expected for a cross by this maker. The accompanying etui comes also in a very fine and complete condition: the thin-shaped and silver-rimmed cross that figures on the etui's top comes in a totally undamaged condition whereas the beige-white-coloured- and velvet-like interior is also fully present and in place (it does just show some minimal age and/or staining as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive – and matching! - EKI. Klasse-set by the 'Steinhauer & Lück'-company and that was never before part of a collection: I deem that I have priced this attractive and fully untouched specimen, accordingly!
