Zinc-based, WH (Heeres) 'Panzer- o. Panzerjäger'-related ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that reads: '2. Pz.Jg.Ers.Abtl. 48' and that comes as issued and/or worn

This is an attractive - and truly used and/or worn! - example of a greyish-coloured- and/or typical zinc-based, WH (Heeres) 'Panzer- o. Panzerjäger'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: '2. Pz.Jg.Ers.Abtl. 48' and that as such belonged to a soldier (ie. NCO or even officer) who served within the second company of the: 'Panzer-Jäger-Ersatz-Abteilung 48' (ie. replacement (ie. 'Ergänzungs o. Ersatz') tank- ie. tank-destroyer-unit, numbered: '48'). The disc comes in an overall nice (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!): it does show the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn and shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered and was as such most certainly issued, worn- and/or stored for decades. The disc also shows the bearers'-blood-group-type (Type A) and shows a clearly stamped bearers-numeral that reads: '426'. Simply a 100% garuanteed original 'Panzer- o. Panzerjäger'-related ID-disc that is I deem accordingly priced!
