This is an attractive example of a silverish-grey-coloured-, early-period and/or typical aluminium-based, WH (Heeres) (ie. 'Infanterie o. Deutsches Reichsheer'-related) ID-disc (or: 'Erkennungsmarke') that comes mounted onto its (period-attached- and/or typical linnen-based) cord and that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Stab/Inf. Ers.Batl. 29 - Deutsches Reichsheer' (and as such being a disc that was - I deem - intended for a soldier (or: NCO) who served within the staff of the infantry replacement batallion, numbered: '29' (ie. belonging to the early-period: 'Deutsches Reichsheer') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in an overall very nice condition (and is executed in a very attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat 'torn-out' holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc shows the impressed soldiers'-blood-group-type (Type 0) as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc-collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Heeres) (ie. 'Infanterie o. Deutsches Reichsheer'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
