Aluminium-based, generic 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'-related ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'W.M.A. Eggenfelden' and that comes as issued- and/or worn
Category:
This is an attractive - clearly issued ie. worn! - example of a silverish-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based, generic 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'W.M.A. Eggenfelden' (and as such being a disc that was intended for a soldier or NCO who - I deem - served within a specific WH-application-bureau ie. 'Wehrmeldeamt') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat torn-out holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc – that shows a very low bearers'-number that reads '6' - is void of the bearers'-blood-group-type something that is more often observed. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a German private-household were it was recently uncovered. Simply an attractive - and honest! - generic 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
