Superb - and just minimally used! - 'EK 1. Kl.' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) being a typical maker- (ie. '100'-) marked example as was produced by the 'Hersteller': 'Wächtler u. Lange'

This is a very attractive - and I deem only minimally used- ie. worn - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) being a (typical) maker- (ie. '100'-) marked example as was produced by the (desirable!) 'Hersteller' (ie. maker): 'Wächtler u. Lange' and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem only minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The cross - which is a typical non-vaulted (ie. non-converse-shaped) example - has with certainty never been cleaned and retains a minimally blackened- (ie. tarnished-) age-patina and/or great pronounced detail. This example - which is an evident specimen as was produced by the: 'Wächtler u. Lange'-company as based in the town of Mittwaida in Sachsen - comes naturally mounted onto its functional (and unaltered!) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. This piece - which shows a nicely 'blackened' and/or fairly 'satin-like'- (ie. somewhat 'shiny') inner-core - just shows some minimal wear but is totally void of any paint-loss (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross is just a bit dirty and tarnished simply caused by years of storage and/or moderate wear but retains a great unmessed-with and/or uncleaned, age-patina: it truly retains most of its polished-sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten') as can be seen on the pictures. The piece is clearly maker-marked (on the back of the pin as more often) with the makers'-designation: '100' (as can be noticed on the pictures). I deem that I have priced this very attractive - and only minimally used- and/or worn! - IC first-class by 'W&L', accordingly!
