Superb, WH (Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Kriegsabzeichen für Schnellboote - 2. Modell' (or: E-boat-war-badge of the 2nd model) being a maker- (ie. 'Fec. W.E. Peekhaus'-) marked example as was produced by the: 'Schwerin'-company

This is a truly attractive - albeit just moderately used and worn but nevertheless quite desirable and not that easily encountered! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Kriegsabzeichen für Schnellboote - 2. Modell' (or: E-boat-war-badge of the 2nd model) being a clearly maker- (ie. 'Fec. W.E. Peekhaus - Berlin - Ausf. Schwerin Berlin 68'-) marked example (having a so-called: 'cut-out'-swastika) that was produced by the desirable: 'Schwerin'-company and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The attractive (typical) zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based- (and I deem mid-war-period produced) naval war-badge truly retains most of its original golden- and/or silver-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The catch, pin and/or pin-set-up are naturally present, unaltered and/or fully functional: moreover, is the (often missing) vertically-mounted small-sized pin also present and in place. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this specimen is neatly period-'personalised' by the recipient and bears the engraved name that reads: 'Dornseif' (or alike as can be noticed on the pictures). The details of this - most certainly never cleaned nor polished badge - are still quite detailed and sharp. Simply a very attractive second-model 'E-boat'-war-badge that is with certainty accordingly priced!
