The attractive - and actually truly scarcely seen! - so-called: 'Mitgliedsabzeichen des Stahlhelm-Frauenbundes' (or: membership-lapel-pin as was specifically intended for female members) being a nicely preserved example of the first pattern has a very nicely preserved age-patina. It has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished: it is showing normal wear but is totally void of any (enamel) damage (as can be seen on the pictures): just some regular wear ie. minimal scratches are noticable. The circular-shaped badge (having an approximate diameter of 2,3 cms.) shows moreover a somewhat tarnished- (ie. minimally stained) finish ie. age-patina as can be seen from the pictures. This example - which has the size of a regular N.S.D.A.P.-membership-pin- ie. party-badge (or: 'Parteiabzeichen') - shows a bright-blue-coloured (ie. neatly enamelled) surface (with silver outline of a 'Stahlhelm') coupled with a capital 'F'-character separately attached: it comes mounted onto its regular-styled pin- (ie. pin-/catch-) set-up which is naturally still fully functional and/or present. The pin is void of a makers'-designation on its back but shows a 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending-marking. A similar example is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken'-lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given the unique reference-number (9133A). Simply an attractive female-related TR-period membership lapel-pin that belonged to a member of the: 'Stahlhelm-Frauenbund'!
