This is an attractive - and I deem simply never used! - example of a greyish-coloured- and linnen-based example of of an early-pattern- (ie. 'Deutsches Reichsheer'-) related armband entitled: 'Deutsches Reichsheer' (being of the entirely printed-type) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem simply never used- nor worn- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. These linnen-based armbands were presumably intended for usage by military staff-members attached to the pre-'Wehrmacht'-period- (ie. 'Deutsches Reichsheer'-) related and were presumably worn on the left upper-arm of the regular WH (Heeres) greatcoats and/or tunics. This example - which has been 'off-factory sewn-together - has a total size of approximately 39 cms. and is 7,8 cms. wide - and is constructed from (somewhat thicker-styled) greyish-coloured linnen and shows the neatly printed text: 'Deutsches Reichsheer'. The armband is void of an ink-stamp (ie. 'Dienstsiegel') and is just a tiny bit stained and is moreover a tiny bit wrinkled. This example originates from a larger-sized armband-collection that was compiled over the years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty not that often encountered! - 'Deutsches Reichsheer'-related armband that is I deem accordingly priced!
