Enamelled, TR-period lapel-pin (ie. 'service-brooch' or: 'Dienstbrosche') as was intended for a female member who served within the: 'Allgemeiner Deutscher Hebammenverband' (or 'ADHV')

  1. Lapel Pins / Tinnies / Ribbon-bars

This is an attractive - and actually fairly scarcely encountered! - example of a nicely executed (ie. colourful enamelled) 'service-brooch' (or: 'Dienstbrosche') as was intended for usage by a female member (ie. midwife) who served within the: 'Allgemeiner Deutscher Hebammenverband' (or 'ADHV') (ie. midwife war-service association) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The service-brooch - which has an approximate width of 4 cms. - shows an illustration of a nurse holding a child surrounded by the text: 'Im Dienste der Zukunft unseres Volkes': moreover, is this the scarcely found pattern that shows a swastika. The piece - which is executed in neatly enamelled metal (ie. 'Buntmetall') - is a tiny bit dirty ie. stained but was most certainly never cleaned ie. polished: it is still a bit dirty ie. dusty but is totally void of any (enamel)damage. This example is void of a makers'-designation but does show a 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending-designation on its back. The pin - which comes mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up - is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given a unique reference-number (5801A). The example on offer here originates from a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply an attractive - and surely decorative! TR-period, female-related lapel-pin (with swastika!) that is with certainty accordingly priced!
