This is a neat - fully matching and I deem quite scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war-period (ie. 'M40'-pattern, rounded-styled- albeit unusually non-piped!) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps having NO branchcolour as was (presumably) nevertheless intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: simple soldier ie private who served within an army-infantry-regiment or unit or alike) and that comes in overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 10,7 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: darker-green-coloured- and/or smooth-woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above NO piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The unusual (and I deem 'standard-issue'-pattern!) pair comes mounted onto its functional tongues attached and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat - and I deem quite early war-period - 'Heeres' EM-type, shoulderstrap-pair that (presumably) belonged to a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen': I could not find any reference about these WH (Heeres), non-piped EM-type shoulderstraps and deem that they most certainly merit further investigative work!
