I recently uncovered a small hoard comprising of 6 (fully identical) examples of the 'standard-issue'-pattern, WH (Heeres) EM/NCO-pattern visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle being all fifteen, typical unmarked examples as executed in greyish-silver-toned, zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based metal and that come all in a simply never used- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued', condition. These specific EM/NCO-pattern cap-eagles were intended for usage on the various WH (Heeres) visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) and saw usage before and/or throughout the war. The eagles of offer here have truly great pronounced detail and retain all their (two) copper-based pins ie. prongs in place (which were I deem never bent and that are of course firmly in place). The pieces are, however, totally void of a makers'-designation on their backs as more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). The pieces - which are executed in bright-silverish-coloured, zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based metal - have an approximate wingspan of 5,4 cms. and have a minimally tarnished 'age-patina' (they were - as stated above - never used nor cap-attached as can be noticed on the pictures). My asking-price is naturally intended for a single specimen. Simply an attractive example of a WH (Heeres) non-maker-marked, 'standard-issue'-pattern visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle that is nowadays not that easily encountered and that is I deem accordingly priced!
