This is an attractive - and I deem just minimally used- ie. once side-cap-attached - example of a hand-embroidered, RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') officers- (ie. evt. NCO-) pattern cap-badge ('Mützenabz. für Offiziers-Schiffchen') that was used on the various RAD-side-caps (ie. 'Schiffchen-Mützen') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The patch - that shows the RAD-logo (ie. red-rimmed spade with centered black-toned swastika) is executed onto a typical brownish-green- (ie. reed-green-) coloured (and linnen-based) background. Simply an unusually found officers-pattern, RAD-related cap-badge that is ideally fitted to restore or complete a side-cap or: 'RAD-Schiffchen'!
