This is a decorative - and with certainty not that easily found! - example of a two-pieced, WH (Heeres, LW- etc. related-) medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange' or: 'Doppelspange') respectively showing a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal) and a so-called Czech 'Anschluss'-medal '1 Oktober 1938', both medals coming in an overall very nice- (albeit minimally used and/or worn-), condition. Both medals are nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: both come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty condition and naturally also come mounted onto their period ribbons. The 'Westwall'-medal - which is a neat 'Buntmetall'-based specimen has an attractive somewhat tarnished bronze-coloured age-patina (simply caused by decades of storage) and was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. The 'Anschluss'-medal retains also all of its original, bright-golden-bronze-toned finish: it is also a tiny bit dirty ie. tarnished, simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage (as can be noticed on the pictures). The 'Spange' comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- (ie. catch-) set-up and is nicely 'backed' with a piece of black-coloured wool as is more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal-bar was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike: it originated as stated above from a private-household and was kept as such for decades. Simply an attractive - and decorative! - 2-pieced, WH-related medal-bar- ie. 'Doppelspange' that is in my opinion accordingly priced!
