'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz' being a maker- (ie. 'L/53'-) marked example by the company: 'Hymmen & Co.' and that came stored in its typical 'LDO'-type etui (ie. two-pieced-box)
Category:
The truly very attractive - fully complete and I deem never ie. hardly used- nor worn! - black-class wound-badge-set (or: 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz-Satz') came stored in its period, generic-styled, (typical) darker-blue-coloured- and/or 'LDO'-marked etui (ie. two-pieced-box) that still contained its (rarely seen!) paper-based LDO-tag (that shows the to be expected text: 'Die Herstellung von Orden….etc.') and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved, condition. The (non-magnetic!) WB truly retains all of its original, black-coloured- and/or somewhat 'shiny'- ie. satin-like finish: it just shows minimal (storage)age only. The wound-badge is - as stated above - neatly maker-marked with the (tiny) makers'-designation: 'L/53' in a box (as is visible on the back of the badge as can be seen on the pictures) signifying that it deals with a piece that was produced by the desirable 'Hymmen & Co.'-company as was based in the town of Pforzheim. Of course, are the (longer-sized- ie. thin-shaped- and/or also non-magnetic) pin and/or: (typical) catch (-set-up) fully functional and of course present. This piece has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal dust and/or minimal staining as to be expected. It should be noted that these complete 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz'-sets come not that often for sale: something that I deem justifies my asking-price!
