The very attractive - and simply never worn- nor used! - Eastern- ie. Russian volunteer (ie. Cossack-) related armshield shows the bright-red- and blue-coloured shield-shaped surface with above that the interwoven 'Cyrillic' characters: 'BA' (as neatly machine-woven in silverish-white toned linnen). This particular example is neatly woven in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave technique and comes as being straightly 'cut-off from the roll': it can easily be graded: 'virtually mint ie. unissued'. These - original - 'official' armshields as executed in 'BeVo'-type weave (ie. German manufacture by the company of 'BeVo') can be easily considered 'very scarce'. This particular example was (presumaby) once glued into an album or scrapbook and does show some minimal glue-remains on its back (as can be noticed on the pictures). I deem that I have priced this (truly 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-) example accordingly. Simply a neat example of a Cossack-related arm-shield (of the first pattern): one of the more harder to encounter specimen of the extensive colourful series!
