This is a truly attractive - and actually quite rarely seen! - example of a pre-war-period- and/or genuine silver-based (ie. '900'-stamped), so-called: 'Erinnerungszeichen Verdienste um das Feuerlöschwesen 1934' being a very detailed- and maker- (ie. 'Preuss. Staatsmünze'-) marked example that comes stored in its period etui and tha comes in an overall wonderful- (ie. very nicely preserved- and I deem just minimally worn-), condition. The oval-shaped piece - having an approximate height of 4,3 cms. - shows a burning house, fire-worker- and/or swastika-sign and comes mounted on its (functional) pin-/catch-set-up that regrettably shows a damaged catch (as can be seen on the pictures). It has a very nice (ie. somewhat darkened) age-patina and has with certainty never been cleaned nor polished: it comes as recently found at a private-household in Germany. The piece - which shows a clearly present makers'-mark ie. logo (as mentioned above) - shows nice and/or pronounced detail but also shows the obvious signs of having been moderately worn (it is still a bit dusty as found and comes as stored for decades). The semi-leather-based and black-toned etui comes in an equally nicely preserved condition: it shows a light-blue-toned (and velvet-based) inner-section that shows a clear imprint of the the badge. Simply an attractive - and complete! - example of this (by the collectors-community underestimated!) so-called: 'Erinnerungszeichen Verdienste um das Feuerlöschwesen 1934' that is - I deem - priced according to its comparative rarity and/or obvious desirability!
