WH (Kriegsmarine) neatly machine-embroidered, so-called: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen') as was intended to signify the: 'Entfernungsmesser mit Seeziel u. Fla. E.Meßausbildung'

This is an attractive - I deem never used- nor tunic-attached and actually scarcely encountered! - WH (Kriegsmarine) neatly machine-embroidered, so-called: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen') as executed in multi-coloured linnen onto a typical beige-white-coloured (and linnen-based) backing as was specifically intended to signify participation in the: 'Entfernungsmesser mit Seeziel u. Fla. E.Meßausbildung' (ie. specific training-course on the usage on anti-aircraft 'Entfernungsmesser') and that comes in an overall very nice, condition. The badge - which was to be mounted on the upper-arm-regions of the various white-coloured, naval-tunics - depicts a detailed and bright-red-coloured 'Entfernungsmesser'-device and triangle coupled with a single rank-chevron (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge is executed in bright-red-coloured linnen onto a beige-white-coloured and/or typical, linnen-based background. The piece does show extraordinary craftmenship and is additonally 'backed' (and does show an additionally-added 'rim' as more often seen). The piece just shows some minimal age and/or staining simply caused by decades of storage only. It sounds maybe strange but all WH (Kriegsmarine) career- ie. specialist-armbadges as specifically related to the various naval 'Entfernungsmesser'-units are truly hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a very attractive example that is I deem with certainty accordingly priced!
