This is a truly attractive - and with certainty unusually- ie. most certainly scarcely encountered! - single-pieced, WWII-period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing the ribbon for a (rarely seen!) so-called: 'Zollgrenzschutz-Ehrenzeichen' (or: customs loyal-service medal) that is still having its detailed 'Auflage' ie. device attached and and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit used- and/or worn, condition. The ribbon is of the regular (ie. larger) ribbon-bar-size and measures approximately 2,5 cms. (as is more often encountered). The 'Spange' comes in a nice condition overall and is of course still fully functional: it is, however, not backed with with a piece of wool but comes directly mounted onto a metal-based 'backing-plate' as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). The attached (and very detailed!) 'Auflage' ie. device shows some minimal age ie. tarnish but has nevertheless been nicely preserved. This particular example was I deem just moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply a very attractive 'Band- o. Feldspange' that comes not that often for sale: great to decorate almost any tunic!
