Linnen-based- and/or 'machine-woven', golden-yellow-coloured armband (ie. 'Armbinde') showing a woven eagle-device as specifically intended for (civilian) staff-members (ie. 'Zivilangestellten') of the armed forces ie. 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'

This is a neat - and just moderately used- ie. worn - example of a typical linnen-based- and/or neatly 'machine-woven' (ie. 'BeVo'-like), golden-yellow-coloured armband (ie. 'Armbinde') showing a black-coloured- and/or larger-sized eagle-device as was specifically intended for (civilian) staff-members of the German armed forces ie. 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' (ie. 'Zivilangestellten') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem just moderately worn- ie. used-), condition. These neat golden-yellow-coloured- and/or: linnen-based armbands were used by the various (civil- and/or military-) staff-members of the German armed-forces ie. 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' and saw wide-spread usage during the entire WW-II-period. The armband on offer here measures approximately 38 x 10,5 cms. and is executed on (typical) linnen-based cloth as more often seen. This example is totally void of an ink-stamp (ie. 'Dienstsiegel') something that is more often the case. The piece just shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining ie. dust simply caused by decades of wear, storage and/or handling. I deem that I have priced this attractive and just moderately used- and/or worn example, accordingly!
