WH (Kriegsmarine) machine-embroidered career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen') as intended for usage by a: 'Küstenartillerie'-staff-member who succesfully completed a: 'Motoren-Lehrgang II'

This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely encountered! - WH (Kriegsmarine) neatly machine-embroidered, so-called: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen') as executed on darker-green-coloured wool as was (I deem) specifically intended for usage by a: 'Küstenartillerie'-staff-member who succesfully completed a: 'Motoren-Lehrgang II' (motor-maintenance-course) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem probably issued- albeit simply never used- nor tunic-attached-), condition. The badge - which was to be mounted on the upper-arm-regions of the various field-grey-coloured, naval 'Küstenartillerie'-tunics - depicts a detailed and bright-red-coloured 'screw- ie. propellor'-device coupled with a double chevron (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge - of which the 'official' TR-period description reads: 'Motoren-Lehrgang II' is executed in bright-red-coloured linnen on a darker-green-coloured and/or typical, 'smooth-woolen'-based background. The piece does show extraordinary craftmenship and is not additonally backed (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece just shows some minimal age ie. staining caused by decades of storage only. It sounds maybe strange but all WH (Kriegsmarine) career- ie. specialist-armbadges as specifically related to the various 'KM-Küstenartillerie'-units are truly very hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'very scarce'. Simply a very attractive example that is with certainty accordingly priced!
