Stunning - and rarely encountered! - Waffen-SS, Norwegian 'volunteer'-armshield as was intended for usage by soldiers of (amongst others) the: '6. Gebirgs-Division der SS' (“Nord”) and that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-, condition

This is a very attractive - and truly very rarely seen! - example of a Waffen-SS, Norwegian 'volunteer'-armshield (ie. 'Ärmelschild') as was specifically intended for usage by soldiers of (amongst others) the: '6. Gebirgs-Division der SS' (“Nord”) or: '11. Panzer-Grenadier-Division der SS' (“Nordland”) depicting the typical 'red-, white'- and blue-colours ie. Norwegian national flag and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' and/or never never tunic-attached-), condition: it does, however, show some minimal fraying on the sides (as is more often the case). The shield retains very vivid colours and is of the later (1943/1944-period-) type and most certainly comes from the famous 'Dachau'-depots and originates from the USA where it was stored for decades as a so-called: 'veteran bring-back'-item. It should be noted that these Norwegian 'Dachau-type'-arm-shields rank amongst the rarest of the extensive series. Simply a superb occasion to acquire a 100% guaranteed original, Norway-related volunteer-armshield that will be impossible to be upgraded!
