The attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz') nurses'-badge (ie. clasp or 'Spange') on offer here is I deem made out of silver-coloured- (and/or 'Buntmetall'-based) metal and has an immaculate enamelled surface (truly no damages whatsoever can be noticed). The badge is a non-maker-marked example (as always) which is bearing a: 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending-designation on its back (as can be seen on the pictures). The clasp - which measures 4.5 cms. in length - is clearly worn ie. moderately used: it has, however, never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty) and comes of course mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch (-set-up). A similar clasp is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken lapel-pin catalogue wherein it is given a unique reference-number (5613 WB) and an estimated value of 220 Eu. Simply an attractive and/or 'Buntmetall'-based example that is I deem accordingly priced!
