Waffen-SS-pattern, black-coloured sleeve-insignia (ie. 'Ärmelabzeichen') depicting an: 'Edelweiss'-flower as used by the various 'Gebirgsjäger'- (ie. mountain-troops-) related divisional-staff

This is a very attractive - and I deem simply never used- nor once tunic-attached! - example of a (typical) Waffen-SS-pattern, black-coloured- and/or (smooth) woolen-based sleeve-insignia (ie. 'Ärmelabzeichen') depicting the famous: 'Edelweiss'-flower as was specifically used by the various 'SS-Gebirgsjäger'- (ie. mountain-troops-) related divisional-staff (such as those of the: 'Prinz Eugen'- ie. 'Skanderbeg'-SS-Divisions) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem simply never used- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The piece on offer here is a fully 'text-book'-example that comes in a very nice condition and that just shows some minimal fraying on its sides (as can be seen on the pictures). This particular piece originated from the US where it was recently found as such: it was brought-back as a war-souvenir (and shows a blue-inked text on its back that reads: 'SS-N? ' or alike as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive and naturally 100% original Waffen-SS arm-badge that almost certainly originated from the 'Dachau' clothing-depots and that will be impossible to be upgraded!
