'Variant'-pattern WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgsjäger'- (ie. mountain-troopers-) related arm-badge, being a desirable example as was executed in the machine-woven pattern on thin-shaped (and bright-green rimmed) background

This is an attractive - 'variant'-pattern! - WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgsjäger'- (ie. mountain-troopers-) related arm-badge, being a desirable example as was executed in the machine-woven pattern on a thin-shaped (and bright-green rimmed!) background and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never used- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The piece comes in an unissued (ie. minty-) condition and was never tunic-attached: its is neatly machine-embroidered on a field-grey-coloured (and/or linnen-based- and thin-shaped) background and is showing the famous 'Edelweiss' flower. The piece was as stated above never used nor tunic-attached but does show some minimal age and/or staining simply caused by decades of storage and handling. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a 'variant-pattern' 'Gebirgsjäger' (mountain-troopers) armbadge for an interesting price!
