Superb - and actually rarely found! - pre-WWII-period, so-called: 'SS-Verfügungstruppen' (ie. 'SS-VT') ie. 'M34'-pattern, side-cap-'skull-button' being a maker- (ie. 'RzM SS 63'-) marked example as executed in chrome-toned metal

This is a very attractive - and actually fairly rarely encountered! - pre-WWII-period, so-called: 'SS-Verfügungstruppen'- (ie. 'SS-VT'-) related, ie. 'M34'-pattern, side-cap-'skull-button' (ie. 'Totenkopfknopf für das Schiffchen') being a neatly maker- (ie. 'RzM SS 63'-) marked example as executed in bright-silver-coloured (ie. nickle-chrome-based-) metal and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem moderately used- and/or worn- ie. most certainly cap-removed-), condition. The makers'-designation 'RzM SS 63' signified that the piece was produced by the 'Steinhauer & Lück'-company based in the town of Lüdenscheid. This example on offer here is naturally a piece of unquestionable originality. The detailed- and pronounced cap-button is only moderately used and shows a pronounced (and fairly shiny!) surface that still shows excellent detail and a fully preserved chrome-toned finish: it just shows some minimal age, wear and/or (rust)staining but was never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece comes with its period attachment-ring as found. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - piece of genuine SS cap-insignia: great to complete an SS- (ie. 'SS-Verfügungstruppen') 'M34'-pattern side-cap ie. 'Schiffchen'!
