This a truly attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - so-called: WH (Luftwaffe) 'Fallschirmschützen-Abzeichen in Stoff' (or: cloth-based paratroopers'-jump-badge) being a nicely machine-embroidered specimen that comes in a just moderately used- ie. carefully tunic-removed, condition. The neat piece is machine-embroidered in multi-coloured- (and/or linnen-based) thread and will be hard to be upgraded. This particular example shows great pronounced detail in order to closely resemble its metal-based counterparts. This example was stored as such for years by the veteran to whom it was issued. These cloth-based versions were preferred by the soldiers, NCOs and/or officers 'stationed in the field' for obvious reasons. Simply an attractive - and fully 'text-book' and moderatly used! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) 'Fallschirmschützen-Abzeichen in Stoff' that is I deem accordingly priced!
