'Nahkampfspange in Bronze' (or: bronze-class close-combat clasp ie. CCC) being a neatly maker-marked- and/or minimally converse-shaped specimen by the maker- (ie. 'Hersteller') 'C.E. Juncker - Berlin'

This is a truly attractive - and only moderately used- ie. worn - example of a so-called: 'Nahkampfspange in Bronze' (or: bronze-class close-combat clasp ie. CCC) being a neatly maker-marked- (and/or typical minimally-converse-shaped!) specimen (as was produced by the desirable maker- ie. 'Hersteller': 'C.E. Juncker') and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem only moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The piece - which has a very detailed and/or pronounced appearance - is as stated a neatly maker-marked version bearing the makers'-designation- (that reads: 'Fec. W.E. Peekhaus Berlin - Ausf. C.F. Juncker') on its back denoting that this is a piece as was produced by the desirable: 'C.E. Juncker'-company as was based in the town of Berlin. The 'Spange' comes mounted onto its (functional- and bronze-coloured) flute-shaped pin (and/or typical 'flat-wire'-type catch- ie. catch-set-up) both which are of course still present, unaltered and/or fully functional. The clasp truly retains almost all of its original golden-bronze-toned finish (something that is not always the case with these zinc-based CCCs). The 'crimped' (and somewhat bluish-black-coloured) metal-based 'back-plate' is naturally also present and firmly in place (and does show some minimal staining). A similar example is also described in the excellent reference-book entitled: 'The German Close Combat Clasp of World War II' by Thomas M. Durante wherein this particular pattern is given the unique reference-numeral : '7.3 - Juncker - “2nd Pattern” - Reverse Die “A” - Recessed Hardware'. The piece was found as such at a private-household and was never before part of a collection. Simply a very attractive example of a bronze-class 'Nahkampfspange' by the Junckers-company: it should be noted that original examples of this neat combat-award are nowadays getting hard to find. I deem that I priced this attractive example according to its overall nice and/or fully untouched condition!
