  1. War-badges (IAB, CCC, GAB & PAB)

This is an attractive - clearly used- and/or worn but nevertheless not that easily encountered! - example of a detailed: 'Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class panzer-assault-badge ie. PAB) being a neatly maker- (ie. 'HA'-) marked- and/or typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen that was produced by the desirable maker: 'Hermann Aurich' based in the town of Dresden and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued- and/or moderately worn-), condition. The badge on offer here concerns a (I deem somewhat later-war-period) zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based specimen that retains a fair bit of its somewhat darkened, silver-coloured finish and that has maintained an attractive appearance, still showing pronounced detail as to be expected. The badge was with certainty never cleaned nor polished (and is still also a tiny bit dirty ie. stained- ie. tarnished as mentioned above). As stated above, does it deal with a so-called: 'Hermann Aurich - solid zinc'-pattern (as is uniquely numbered with the reference-number: '1.8.1.' according to the excellent reference-work entitled: 'The Panzer-Assault badge of WWII' by my Belgian friend Philippe de Bock). The neat piece naturally shows all the details as to be expected for a badge by this particular maker. The badge was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors-hands. Simply a nice and honest silver-class, so-called: 'Hermann Aurich'-pattern PAB that comes in an overall nice, albeit moderately used and/or worn, condition!
