Maker- (ie. 'L/13'-) marked 'Wiederholungsspange zum EK I. Klasse' as executed in greyish-silver-toned 'Feinzink' by the: 'Paul Meybauer'-company and that comes in an overall nice- and/or fully untouched, condition

This is an attractive - just moderately used but nevertheless not that easily found! - example of a so-called: 'Wiederholungsspange zum EK I. Klasse' (or: bar to the WWI IC first-class) being a clearly maker- (ie. 'L/13'-) marked example as was executed in (minimally stained and/or tarnished) greyish-silver-toned zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based metall as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Paul Meybauer' as based in the town of Berlin and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued and/or moderately worn-), condition. The neat piece - which is executed in so-called: 'Feinzink' - has lost a fair bit of its silver-toned finish but is still very detailed and/or pronounced as to be expected: it came mounted onto its (typical, unaltered- and of course fully functional) pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' is as stated above clearly stained ie. dirty: it retains still a nice age-patina and was never cleaned nor polished. The piece shows various details as only seen by examples as produced by the maker- ie. 'Hersteller' named: 'Paul Meybauer' as based in the town(s) of Nürnberg and/or Berlin. The 'Spange' was recently found at a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. It should be noted that these 'Wiederholungsspangen zum EK I. Klasse' are quite scarcely encountered and are not that often appearing on todays' market. Simply an attractive example that is priced according to its fully untouched condition and comparative scarcity!
