2-pieced WH (Heeres etc.) 'Feld-/Bandspange'

This is an attractive two-pieced, WWII-period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing respectively the ribbons for an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross second class) and a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal), both ribbons coming in a wonderful- (and only moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The ribbons are of the regular (ie. smaller), ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1,5 cms. each (as is more often encountered). The 'Spange' comes in a very nice condition overall and is neatly 'backed' with a piece of grey-toned wool (as more often). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that both ribbons are confectioned in a so-called: 'Austrian manner'. This particular example was in my opinion only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply an attractive 'Feld- o. Bandspange' having an desirable combination: great to decorate almost any WWII-tunic!
