HJ (ie. 'Hitlerjugend') pre-war- (ie. after 1938-) so-called: 'Sporthemd-Abzeichen' that was intended for usage by a member who served within the so-called: 'Luftsportscharen'

This is an attractive - and actually fairly rarely seen! - HJ (ie. 'Hitlerjugend') pre-war- (ie. after 1938-) so-called: 'Sporthemdabzeichen' (ie. sports'-shirt-badge) that was intended for usage by a member who served within the so-called: 'Luftsportscharen' being an example that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly issued- and/or I deem once tunic- ie. shirt-attached-), condition. The neat patch - which is nicely machine-stitched in multi-coloured, so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' - depicts a pair of white-coloured- and stylised wings and propellor, overlaid with a white-edged, black-coloured swastika as set on a red circle, all on a typical blue-coloured background. The badge is fairly large-sized and measures from wingtip to wingtip approximately 17 cms. Although the 'Luftsportscharen' (or: air-sports squad) was set-up under the auspices of the DLV (or: 'Deutches Luftsport Verband') it became generally known as: 'Flieger-HJ'. This example shows minimal age, wear and/or staining but is totally void of any damage. Simply an attractive - and quite rarely seen! - youth-related sports'-shirt-patch that does not come often for sale: I deem that I have priced this very attractive example accordingly!
